New Club Launch! Want to Learn How to Wear a Kimono Together?

We welcome Japanese residents, foreign residents, and complete beginners alike!

If you’ve ever thought, "I want to try putting on a kimono by myself," or "I want to learn the basics of kimono dressing," let’s have fun learning together!

Our friendly instructors will teach patiently using "Easy Japanese" (Yasashii Nihongo), so international participants can join in with complete confidence!

Let's step up our skills comfortably over a series of 3 exciting sessions.

♦Activity Schedule (3 sessions total)

Time for all sessions: 13:30 – 15:30

Vol. 1: July 19 (Sun) – "Practicing Dressing Yourself"
　Start from the very basics! Learn step-by-step how to dress beautifully by yourself and how to fold a kimono neatly.

Vol. 2: November 15 (Sun) – "Review & Dressing Others"
　Review what we learned last time and practice dressing each other (or your friends).

Vol. 3: March 28 (Sun) – "Putting it into Practice: Foreign Guest Day"
　We will invite international guests who want to try on a kimono and host a fun experience day together!

♦Club Information

Venue: Sanson Kaihatsu Center Mizuho, 2nd Floor, Japanese-style Room (Tatami Room)

Eligibility: Anyone living or working in Kyotamba Town

Capacity: Up to 10 participants (First-come, first-served basis)

Fee: Free of charge!

♦What to Bring
　Kimono, Obi (belt), Tabi (socks), 5 cords (Himo), etc.
　(※ We will send you a detailed checklist after you sign up!)

★Don't own a kimono? No problem!
　Rental kimonos are available (Limited to the first 5 people)
　If you would like to borrow one, please let us know when you register.

★On the day of the event, just come wearing a regular T-shirt!
